With sorrow filled hearts, the family of Donald Dennis Cardinal of Lac La Biche, Alberta sadly announces that the sun set for him on Saturday February 7, 2026, at the age of 69 years.

Leaving to mourn with cherished memories is his daughter: Jenna (Tim) Clowater; grandchildren: Phoenix, Ryder, Hunter; sisters: Linda (Sam) McConnell, Lena Blood, Evelyn Boucher; brother: Marcel Boucher; special niece: Christine Cardinal; Donald will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

Donald is being reunited with his parents: Gabe Boucher, Christine Cardinal; brothers: Emile, Ronald, Rene, Roy.

A one night wake for Donald will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026,  at Hylo Venice Rec & Ag Society, 901 8 Ave, Hylo, Alberta, leaving Mission View Funeral Chapel, Lac La Biche, Alberta at 10:00 a.m. Evening prayer service on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. with Father Turmanda officiating. Funeral Service, Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 2:30 p.m., Hylo Venice Rec & Ag Society, 901 8 Ave, Hylo, Alberta, with Father Anselmo Landoy officiating.

Pallbearers: Ron, Lavallee, Audie McConnell, Harvey Boucher, Emile (E.J.) Cardinal, Michael Cardinal, Earl Bacon.
